Principal's Breakfast

On Friday, January 23, 8:00 am, our chapter leadership will be hosting a "Principal's Breakfast" for the consulting engineering community. We have parsed our membership list, and have invited at least one person from each firm represented in our membership list. If you manage to see this information and are part of a firm that does not receive an invitation, please contact Jack Hopkins (jhopkins@appeng.com) for inclusion to the event. The location will be the Gourmet's Market in Bearden, 5107 Kingston Pike. An omelet bar will be sponsored by the chapter.

Our goal for this event will be to listen to this sector of our membership and gain insight on how ASHRAE is doing as a local chapter and as a national Society. Are ASHRAE Standards helping you in your work? How is the energy code working for you? Do you like our speakers? How's the meat loaf?

Please come ready to let us know your thoughts. We have planned a limited agenda, with the idea that listening to input will be the main event.

Our leadership panel will consist of Jack Hopkins, chapter president; Nancy McBee, president-elect; and Jeff DeLong, treasurer and upcoming president-elect. Tom Werkema, ex Society Vice President, will also be present - Tom has great communication pathways to our national Society leadership. We hope that this input will help guide and improve our chapter during the coming years.

Please RSVP to Jack Hopkins via e-mail by Wednesday, January 21, to reserve your place at the breakfast. We will need to get an accurate count by that date to order food.
